I have a HDTVI and I bought this antenna a couple of weeks ago,I was afraid that won't work,I also thought it was very expensive but worth its cost,I placed indoor in the window frame.. is phenomenal ...I won't pay for cable anymore.

great price great product December 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy See all my reviews >

We had to get rid of our cable due to expenses. I purchased a different antena maybe 4 dollars cheaper than this one and it was horrible, also had those annoying antenas that stick out all over. We got this one, set it up in less than 20 minutes, and got alot of channels, 32 to be exact. Better than the 3 we were getting. The picture is also perfect. We didnt even have to position it a certain way just screwed it to our roof. I would deffinetly tell people to buy this, it may seem kind of pricey compared to others but you get what you pay for and for us $4 more daollrs got us alot more.

OK unit but you MUST upgrade the coax cable! November 18, 2009 Reviewer:  Busy Dad "Keith P" (Pittsburgh, PA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this item and hooked it up.. ran a scan on my TV and got 3 channels... funny because my cheap rabbit ear HD antenna got 19 channels... so I tried swaping out parts to see where the weak link was. Sure enought it was the cheap COAX that came in the box. I put a new cable on and presto! 20+ HD channels... I was close to boxing it up and returning it all because they included some cheap cheap cable!

A relatively expensive but very good antenna May 5, 2009 Reviewer:  HDman "HDman" (Raleigh-Durham)  See all my reviews >

I am very satisfied with this antenna. It did take some adjusting to find the ideal position. I had better luck with laying the antenna on its side. All channels now come in with all bars (my HDTV uses bars similar to a cell phone) and no drop outs. I am using the inline amplification. No need for me to move this outside. The 20' of coax cable came in handy for adjusting the location of antenna. The cable is kind of cheap so you may want to look into RG6 for outdoor usage of this antenna.

This antenna performed for me where two others failed. I am replacing a Phillips silver surfer type antenna that only managed to get a few channels without repositioning. This is a little expensive and is UHF only but it does appear to work if you are about 20 or so miles from the towers.

Very Unimpressive March 1, 2009 Reviewer:  William (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

I had high hopes for this new UHF antenna. However, when I connected it up, I got no digital channels at all to display. Checked the input signal level and it was close to zero. Even moving it all around, the best signal strength I got was 13 (out of 100). Being an electronics engineer by trade, I then grabbed an old [price] VHF/UHF "rabbit-ears" antenna from another room and performed a benchmark evaluation between the two. The old rabbit-ears antenna produced an average signal strength of 45--and as high as 60, whereas the Phillips averaged only 8. Perhaps the unit I purchased was just a lemon, but I doubt it. In the engineering world, this is what is known as a [..].
